Holiday highlights from Food for Me

We're kicking off with a great lunch menu this week.  We've had a fab break, heading east to Victoria to catch up with family and friends, enjoy some gastronomic delights and partake in

celebrations aplenty!

We hope you had an equally delightful time over Christmas and New Year. Georgie's family ate in style with a whole suckling pig on the spit for Christmas lunch (feeding lots of people for many days). Andrew enjoyed the luxury of Christmas ham off the bone sandwiches at the cricket, accompanied by Christmas cake - delightful - the cricket was good too!

We also got to have a few days 'rest' in Daylesford - local dialect for 'Chillaxarama'. Think mineral springs, spas and great fresh food everywhere you go - just brilliant. Some highlights included Dukka encrusted snapper at the Farmers Arms Hotel; an eight course degustation dinner at Mercato; and locally produced venison and duck at the Perect Drop Wine Bar.
