Stranded? What would you do?
Sunday, 30 October 2011 19:31

You may have heard that there's a few issues in getting flights at the moment. We realise this is causing a lot of grief to lots of people. We reckon though that there's an upside to this though. Just think - if you weren't here in Perth - where would you like to be 'stranded? 'What would you be eating and where? What's something you'd do that you couldn't do here in Perth?

We're keen to hear your ideas (leave a comment) and of course there's prizes on the go!

  1. I would like to be stranded at the home of my husband's family in the town of Maumere, Flores Island , Eastern Indonesia. I would be going down to the harbour to eat freshly caught snapper grilled over coals with a beautiful fragrant and spicy sambal. At the family houseI wold be eating bowlfuls of a local specialty, rumpe rampe, which my mother in law makes for me- a delightful juicy salad with a touch of bitterness made from cassava leaves and papaya flowers, accompanied by some delicious fried fish......in fact I kind of wish I was stranded there right now!
  2. I wouldn't mind being stranded in Broome & I'd be eating a seafood platter at Cable Beach then go on a camel ride at sunset.
